Public Transport If you live in the Buloke, Gannawarra and Swan Hill municipalities and need to travel to Melbourne, then please consider using public transport. There are a number of train and bus services that travel to Melbourne, and the following Journey Planner link can provide useful timetable information for you - Public Transport Victoria.
How To Use The Journey Planner Once you are in the Journey Planner (from clicking on the above link), then you will need to select your travel options. Please refer to the following as a guide:
The Journey Planner will load all relevant public transport options, based on your selection. If you cannot find a suitable public transport timetable from your home town, then have a look and see what is available from a neighbouring town, by simply changing your 'Current Location' to a neighbouring location. Often there are more or other travel choices from another destination, which means that it may be suitable for you to drive (or be driven) a short distance to a neighbouring town in order to catch a bus or train to Melbourne. For example, if you live in Koondrook, but find that the train timetable in Kerang offers you a better schedule, then you may wish to travel by train.
Fares / Tickets Once you have selected your journey, and anticipate that you will be using a Regional (V/Line) Service, then please click HERE in order to purchase your online tickets via the V/Line portal.

Scheduling Your Appointments In Melbourne When scheduling your appointments in Melbourne, please ensure that you explain that your appointment needs to work in with public transport, and actively pursue a relevant appointment time. If you make a 9am appointment in Melbourne, then it will be impossible for you to arrive in time (via public transport), and you will be forced to travel down the day before and stay in accommodation overnight. This is obviously an option for you, however, if you do not wish to do this, then please speak up when making your appointments.
